UK Delivery
UK Deliveries are made Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm. Standard delivery time is 3-4 days. Please let us know with your order if you need faster delivery. Next day delivery is possible but orders must be received before noon and there is a £10 charge.
We try to dispatch goods as quickly as possible once an order is received. We quote a delivery period of 3-4 days. Orders placed before 5pm on any working day are normally received within 4 working days after being placed. Orders placed after 5pm are treated as if placed the following working day. However, these delivery times are not always feasible, especially during busy periods, and may take up to 7 days. Please note that deliveries are not made on Saturday or Sunday. Hence any order placed on a Friday will normally be received no earlier than the following Tuesday.
Delivery charges are based on weight given the diverse range and size of the goods we sell. However, we have attempted to simplify delivery charges into two bands that are shown on our homepage. We strongly believe that customers should be informed of delivery charges up front and not at the very end of the transaction process. Weights of all products are shown on the individual product page and the shopping basket area.
We use a reputable courier company for the majority of our deliveries and the service requires a customer signature. However, if you are not able to be there to take delivery, the driver will leave the parcel at the stated address so long as we have instructions as to where the parcel can be safely left. This can be behind a gate, in a shed or with a neighbour. If you do not give instructions and are not there to sign for the delivery, then a visit card will be left. You must then respond for a second delivery to be attempted. If you do not respond within 7 days the package will be returned to us. In this case, a refund will be given for the value of the items but not the delivery charges. We reserve the right to impose a second delivery charge if you fail to respond promptly and we need to despatch a second time.
Please note: if you live in a flat with a common entrance, then you must be there to take delivery. A parcel will only be left outside if instructed by you and we will not accept responsibility if it then goes missing. If someone else signs for the parcel then they accept delivery on your behalf.
Mainland UK delivery charges are as follows:
Up to 2kg = £5.00
Over 2kg = £8.00
Presently, we do not offer premium delivery options because we aim to get the products to you within four days. However, if you have a time constraint (ie going on holiday) please let us know when you place an order and we will endeavour to deliver the items within your deadline.
If you are ordering in Northern Ireland, Northern Scotland, Channel Islands, Isle of Wight, Republic of Ireland and any other offshore destination the delivery charges are significantly higher.
Highlands & Islands delivery charge = £10.00
Channel Islands & Eire = £22.00
Please note the increased charges are dictated by the courier company we use. Depending on the size and weight of the item, it may be possible to send via Royal Mail at a reduced cost. Please call to check.
We do offer international delivery at a reasonable cost. Please call us to discuss timing and costs. As a rough guide, delivery to Europe costs between £26-£30 up to 20kg.
