A few important details that you should know
We may not be able to accept your order, or part of your order, due to one of the following reasons:
authorisation of your payment failed
we made a pricing or product description error
you're not eligible to order from The Seaside Company
If there are any problems with an order, you'll be contacted by us.
If you change your mind about an order and want to cancel it, you can do so up to the point when it is despatched. Failure to do so before despatch means we cannot always stop the order from being delivered and thus avoid a delivery charge. You must then return the product to us whereby we will refund the full cost of goods excluding delivery charges.

We make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated timescales, However delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors. Please see delivery & returns for more information.
UK
Payments must be made in £ Sterling only. You can use Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Solo, Delta, EuroCard, JCB, Laser, Electron. When you have completed your selections you are automatically transferred to the World Pay secure server.
Overseas
We only currently accept online payment from cards issued by UK banks. Please contact us if you'd like to place an order but have a card issued by a non-UK bank.
Acceptance of order:
Placing an order through the website is notification that you agree with our terms and conditions. These terms and conditions will be updated occasionally, please check them before making your purchase.
We have made every effort to display all our products as accurately as possible. However as colours and images vary depending on your own monitor and browser we cannot guarantee that products will be exactly as seen on your monitor. Most products have been described with sizes/lengths given as accurately as possible.
Price
All prices are quoted in £ Sterling. All prices are exclusive of postage and packaging, unless otherwise stated. You will be given the total price of the transaction before you complete your purchase. There are no hidden extra costs. In the rare event that an item is incorrectly priced on the web site, The Seaside Company reserves the right to not supply that item at said price. The normal price will be offered instead.
Payment
The Seaside Company will only take payment from a customer once it has checked the validity of the order, confirmed that the product is in stock and is ready to dispatch the goods. If the product is not currently in stock, The Seaside Company will notify the customer and either inform the customer when the product will be in stock, offer an alternative product or cancel the order.
Passing of property
The Seaside Company shall retain legal title to the products until all payment has been made in full by the Customer.
Acceptance
The Customer shall inspect the goods within a reasonable time after their receipt. (This does not however affect the customer's statutory rights).
Privacy & Security
Secure online shopping
When you place an order it's done using the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption method; your details are encrypted before the information goes from your computer to ours.
When this is happening you'll see a little padlock symbol at the bottom of the browser - this means that your details are totally safe from prying eyes and that only we can see them. (Some browsers don't have this symbol; if the address of the web page starts with https, this also confirms you're secure). This method is the recognised standard for secure transactions.

Personal information is private so we treat it with the highest standards of security and confidentiality.
We never sell or give any information we have about you to any other company. You can rest assured that your credit/debit card and personal information are safe with us.
With your permission, we’ll send you information about our latest products and offers, and keep you up to date with what's going on at The Seaside Company. That's only if you want us to of course!
Cookies
Cookies are small amounts of data sent to your web browser by a web server. They cannot harm your machine in any way as they are small text files with simple information in them. You can see them as small text files inside your 'Temporary Internet Files' folder in Windows. Our cookies keep track of the items in your shopping basket and act as place markers when you move around the site. We also use software to track general browsing behaviour on our website. This means that we can build up a picture of the most popular areas and paths through the site and any problem areas, though we don't use it on a personal level to track individuals and their behaviour.
You may experience problems with our site when you try to buy items. These are usually to do with how you have set up your security settings in your web browser.
If you have set your Security Settings in Internet Explorer to 'high' you have disabled cookies. Our site uses cookies to provide some features such as the Shopping Cart. To use the site you will need to set the security level for the internet to Medium (under Tools/Internet Options). This is for "Safe browsing but still functional". Should you wish to turn off cookies in your browser, your browser's help menu should tell you how to do this, but this will, of course, affect some of the features of our site and therefore your shopping experience.
Returns Policy
We offer a simple & honest 14 Day Money Back Guarantee.
If any item is not what you required then just notify us by email/post (stating reason for return) within 14 days of receipt.
We will then issue you with either a refund or allow you to exchange the item for something else instead. When refunding the customer, postage costs on the original order are not refunded.
Items must be returned in a resaleable condition otherwise no refund can be given. Please send items back via recorded delivery for your own proof of delivery. This postage cost is not reimbursed (unless item is damaged/faulty).
Please note: We will refund the price of the item to the purchaser or exchange the product once it is received by us. If we find that the product has not been returned to us in fully resaleable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item, or deduct up to 25% of the original selling price from the refund amount.
Gift wrapping
We will gift wrap products on request. This will comprise good quality wrapping paper and card. There will be an additional charge of £4 per order added to the invoice. Please provide us with relevant information when you place your order.
Damaged/faulty/incorrect goods
Please check your goods on delivery. If items do arrive damaged/faulty please let us know within 7 days and arrange to post them back to us via recorded delivery. The same procedures apply on the rare occasion the goods are incorrect.
We will reimburse you these extra postage costs. If you do not inform us within 7 days, then we will have no liability for items said to be damaged/faulty/incorrect on delivery.
